Walking on the broken glass which fell down from the roof
While others fly above you, united in their truth
When did good intentions turn to burning coal?
Reality is upside down, so you'd better change your soul
Should you choose to walk in to no man's land
It's full of traps and tripwires, your life is in their hands
So many walking blind who have no eyes to see
And the seals bark at their downfall, believing that they're free

I see the train coming home, as it pulls into the station
Suddenly it steams away, moving in the wrong direction
Is anybody seeing the truth, or is that a crazy notion?
And now the clowns all run the show and we're blinded by emotion


Stop the world cos I wanna get off
Cos I feel so far behind it
Seems like there's another planet that I should be living on

Searching for dragons, but there's none to be found
So they swing their blade at nothing, on their ever higher ground
The doubts you feel are echo's of a long dead time

Dealing with the mundane, of the dreary day to day

Cos intellectual honesty got up and walked away
