Seeing nothing, hearing nothing
All you knew and treasured slipped away
Closing darkness fills your mind
You've lost the will to fight, the will to stay
Are you somewhere? Anywhere at all?
You don't remember, you don't recall
Heavy heart, heavy soul
The curtain falls obscuring all but doubt
Monsters lurk in the dark
As night falls you can't stop them coming out
Are you someone? Anyone at all?
Something seems to call you as you fall
Going down, you can't stop going down
Almost helpless, almost hopeless
Bring it back, can you bring it back?
You're almost under, almost over
On the edge, it's on the edge
But just beyond your sight and out of reach
Feel the numbness, paralysis sets in
Its there in your thoughts and in your speech
Were you someone? Anyone will do
And can you find the way back, back to you?
Going down, you can't stop going down
Almost helpless, almost hopeless
Bring it back, can you bring it back?
You're almost under, almost over
Find a way to shake it loose
While you still can see the truth
You're the voice inside your head
Call yourself back from the edge of the world
Come home
See the ray of light in a sky of black thunder
Don't go over, don't go under
Absolutely hooked on this album from first listen. How rare is that with prog!??? Excellent songwriting and musicianship. Can’t wait to dive into the rest of the collection. Thomas Lock
Not long ago discovered this band and needed to get an album. This was one recommended. Truly another Prog masterclass in musicianship. Off to buy more. Ken Dunsmuir
Proggy Fairy Tales in vein of "Foxtrot & Nursery Chryme" Genesis Classics.
Composition, Instrumental acumen, and Vocalization are all top notch.
An awesome yet nostalgic present day trip in Prog Rock.
Can't wait for Part II! Agent K
